Kommentar/Beschreibung

This seminar provides a platform for Master students, PhD candidates, and Post-docs to present their academic work. Through this seminar, especially Master students and early PhDs gain a pathway to attend and contribute to state-of-the-art academic discourse. This helps them preparing their own (future) doctoral studies. Participants will yield valuable feedback by experienced faculty. The seminar also provides the opportunity to get in touch with academic guest speakers, enabling potential future collaborations.

More specifically, the seminar’s aims are:
• Giving advanced Master and PhD students the opportunity to present, test, and discuss early stage ideas and receive valuable feedback
• We provide a platform for scientific exchange with all parties profiting from the discourse.
• Opening up new opportunities for collaboration.
• Offering a stage for conference presentation rehearsals.
• On request, presenters will receive a certificate (“Schein”).


Each presenter has 30 minutes of time to present their ideas in English. Afterwards, a short report on how the research approach changed after the feedback (3 pages) should be submitted.
