Pre-requisites Commitment, motivation and the willingness and ability to work in teams as well as English language skills at a minimum level of B2.

Information event on April 11, 2025: Presentation of the practice-oriented teaching format in the lecture-free time

Active application for the projects:
First application phase for the projects ends on June 8, 2025 (best chance of receiving the desired project)
Publication of remaining places: June 13, 2025
Late application deadline (subsequent filling of open projects): June 29, 2025
Learning organisation Kick-off on August 4, 2025, final on August 22, 2024, in between intensive project work with supportive coaching

July: Getting to know the team and the project partner incl. onboarding.

One week before kick-off, preparatory workshops and submission of the kick-off presentation.
Performance record BA BWL/WIWI or MA BWL students register via PABO (please note separate registration deadline: 01.08. - 18.08)

Students from other departments submit a certificate of achievement (please ask your own examination office - usually form can be downloaded via PABO)

Grading / performance:
Kick-off presentation
At least 30 hours/week project work (in presence or hybrid - not possible completely remotely, as presence in Bremen is required) - Assessment of soft skills
Final presentation at the practice partner and at the final event.

Module assignments

Comment/Description

During an intensive three-week project phase, interdisciplinary and sometimes international teams of students work in small groups on real-life tasks from companies and institutions.

Rough schedule:

April 11: Information event to introduce all projects and project partners
June 8: First application deadline to improve the chance of receiving a desired project.
June 13: Publication of remaining places
June 20: Deadline for applications for remaining places.
July 4: Publication of assignment to projects (team building)
until July 25: First meeting of the team members as well as getting to know each other and onboarding by project partners - preparation of the kick-off presentation
from July 28 - August 1: Preparatory workshops
July 31: Submission of the kick-off presentation
August 4: Joint kick-off event for all teams and companies. Presentation of the intro presentations - everyone gets to know each other!
August 4 - August 21: Individual project work in the teams (full-time = min. 30 hours/week) / in between mandatory and voluntary coaching appointments with the team of lecturers and 2-3 social after-work events. Goal: Submission of the final presentation (coordinated with the company) / final or detailed presentation in the company in advance
August 22: Final event with final presentations in front of all teams and companies as well as an interested audience. Followed by a social get-together.
