Comment/Description

Die Vorlesung vermittelt einen einführenden Überblick über Methoden der empirischen Sozialforschung. Im Zentrum stehen eine > Einführung in die Sozialforschung (Schulen, Formen, Beispiele), > Auswahlverfahren, > Systematische Ausfälle in allgemeinen und schwer erreichbaren Populationen, > das standardisierte Interview, > Antwortstile im Interview, > Befragungseffekte im Interview: Modus-, Response- und Interviewereffekte, > Gesamtfehler einer Umfrage, > Experimente im Survey Kontext, > Survey Designs: Telefonsurveys, Web Surveys, Online Panel, Mixed-Mode Surveys, egozentrierte Netzwerksurveys, > Verhaltensbeobachtungen und > Inhaltsanalyse

[The lecture introduces the audience to foundations and techniques of social research.
