Pre-requisites Dear Candidates,

the course “Space Systems Engineering / Concurrent Engineering” is limited to 18 participants, thus, we have to proceed as follows, which we very much regret:

the course has to be limited for “Master Space Engineering” - candidates, only,

candidates in higher semesters, i. e. “Master Space Engineering (5) or (4)” will be considered first!

In order to select the final course members (18 max.) for Winter Semester 2025/2026 we ask you to send a photograph of your current enrollment certificate (winter semester 25/26) via Email to:

until Novenber 14, 2025 at the latest.

Comment/Description

Praktische Blockveranstaltung, die im Simultan-Entwurfslabor „Concurrent Engineering Facility“ (CEF) des DLR stattfindet, wo ein Raumfahrzeug in einem geführten Designprozess konzeptionell entwickelt wird, genauso wie dies in der Praxis und mehrmals im Jahr im DLR durchgeführt wird.
Jede(r) Studierende übernimmt dabei für eine Woche die Rolle eines Subsystem-„Experten“ für eine der relevanten Positionen im Entwicklungsprozess wie z.B. Struktur, Power System, OBDH, COMMS, TCS, AOCS, Kosten, Risiko. Es erfolgt die Anwendung des DLR Concurrent Engineering Prozesses inkl. MBSE (z.B. Virtual Satellite), Collaborative Engineering sowie teilweise Agile Scrum Design-Methoden.

Admission settings

The course is part of admission "Zeitgesteuerte Anmeldung: Space Systems Engineering/Concurrent Engineering".
The following rules apply for the admission:
  • The enrolment is possible until 14.11.2025, 18:00.

Registration mode

After enrolment, participants will manually be selected.
